In this unit, learn to use a database that breaks down each country’s necessary emissions reductions in order to stay within the carbon budget.

Unit project:
For the project, students will look at and make sense of the numbers in the CutX Index, and make a short explainer report to explain what these numbers mean.
Time frame:
We recommend spending two or three classes on this unit. The first class should be focused on the text, allowing students to discuss and comprehend sections. The second to third class should be focused on research and the project.
